Common Sense Thought of the Day # 3





Choice … a trait that allows us to look at a relevant situation and make a decision that best helps you and others. Choice, a trait that is at the heart of everyone that wakes, breathes and lives in our country. Choice, something that gives us the ability to read, write, speak and live the way we want that makes fitting the properties of life, love and happiness. Choice, something that is at the forefront of anything logical, reasonable and common in the path of life we come to live … so choosing to be with another person, no matter race or gender , is on the grounds of the person choosing and the person accepting, not a dictation of the book you read or the law of the land. This revealing fact is the reason why, a law was over turned.

I bring up this point of choice for a recent event that has happened over in California. A federal judge in California overturned the state’s ban on same-sex marriage, known as proposition 8. This is a major victory for the gay community, but also a major victory for equal rights and the purpose of freedom. I for one see this as a major step for society and a great step to moving forward to form a more perfect union in our country, but I’ll take a minute to discuss what seems to be a very touchy subject.

First of all, this overturn means a win for the gay community. Not only do they have the right to choose who they want to be with, they have a choice to marry them as well. To prevent someone from being with someone they choose to be, where it isn’t harming or hurting anyone is discrimination. Why do you have the right to prevent someone from being happy, from having the same privileges and security a man and a woman has? No one has the right to tell or dictate to someone they can’t be happy or satisfied for the rest of their lives. Now this leads into the fight of definition of marriage.

Many people believe that, because of what they’ve been taught through words of religion, that marriage is between a man and woman. Alright, that is your belief, but is it your right to enforce that upon someone who doesn’t believe that. There are many ways to live a happy life, to live a true life, to live a balanced life, and not one path is defined by one thought without truth and reason. A book of words is a sign of beliefs that helps people get through their lives, but at the same time, there are many religions in this country and this world, that living is not defined by a single word but the relevance of the point. The infliction of one’s views from a religious aspect is separate from the enforcement of state law; separate of church and state. A belief may guide, but a book translation isn’t literal, as the important is the common sense that people lack to see, the goodness of the reason is the that influence should be for all, not for secular few.

And to make one more point. Are they really hurting your structure on life. Are the preventing you from shopping at the mall, or taking your kids to school, or going out to eat your local buffet restaurant. No one is forcing you to change your ways, it’s the fact of respecting one’s views and accepting for what people are or choose to do.

Choice, a very common aspect on life, but when someone chooses otherwise, you want to berate them for being weird or different. You want to throw stones, spit and curse them on a highway to your hell. Maybe your marriage is shyt, but they truly find that man or woman to be special and want to be with them for the rest of their lives. Maybe it’s a jealously or envy thought, that you aren’t happy so you want to prevent their happiness. Just remember, the law of the land is to protect people, not separate, discriminate of violate anyone’s pursuit to live freely and be happy. We use to have laws that prevented marriage between blacks and whites, and learned our lesson about the violation of equal rights and the discrimination aspect of those laws. Have some common sense, leave people to their right to choose and you will learn to be happy for yourself.

Its Football Baby!!!!




The breath, the rush, the feeling of the roar as the crowds screams for a touchdown. Yes, the 2010 season of the NFL is about to start and I'll be smiling from ear to ear. Why you may ask? Well ... there are many things that I enjoy in this world:

Poetry
Movies
Music
Photography

But one of my passions is being a NFL fan. I love me some football, but hey ... most people do, and have their reasons to watch games at stadiums, bars, or even on the couch with a bag chips and a 6 pack. For me, there are plenty of reasons to look forward to the football season, but I'll give you my main 5 reasons I'll be looking forward to this year.


5.) Fantasy Leagues - This is a lot of reason I love football. It means the rush, the competition, the battle between 2 opposing forces. I'm not talking about teams, but fantasy owners: who place players against players and hope they get the points needed to beat the other owner. A few years playing Fantasy football and it is one of the most fun I have with friends, family and co-workers


4.) Madden - The most obvious things that signals the start of the NFL season is the release of the epic game (and only game) that represents football; Madden. It is an annual routine for most gamers of sports games all over America to wait in line for hours or save up money to buy this game. For me, it is that point of the year I look forward to in the summer. New teams, new features, new online modes and all the reasons to whoop some ass online and offline against friends and the computer. Makes me smile when I win, and go crazy when I loose ... but in the end, I have fun

3.) Season Tickets - Yes, a dream of mine and my brothers. Last year I was able to attend 2 games live for the first time and I absolutely LOVED it. This year, a gift of all ages. Season tickets to one full season of football games in D.C. I'm not the biggest fans of the Skins, but the football is universal love, and I love football. Plus if I get to see the Cowboys loose, then its well worth it.

2.) Seeings the Packers live (1st time) - This is a continuation of the last reason, but more particular. I get to see my Green Bay Packers live for the first time in my life. This is a dream come true. I have loved the football team from The Frozen Tundra since I was a young gun, and to root for team with my Cheese Head is just going to make the day all more spectacular ...

and the number reason I'm looking forward to football

1.) Green Bay Packers - Nothing has felt so better, and so good, and so right like watching and hoping, that one day I'll see my team head towards the Super Bowl. This is the year. This is the time. We have the potent offense lead by Aaron Rodgers and a crazy blitzing defense lead my the likes of Charles Woodson, Clay Matthews and AJ Hawk ... I bleed the Green and Yellow, I bleed Cheese Head, I bleed the history of Vince Lombardi, the only thing that keeps me smiling, crying, jumping up for joy and souring at a last second lost, is my team ... I have hope for a great season


And there you have it, my 5 reason I have for looking forward to football. I hope you all get excited for this season, it is going to fun ride, no matter how the Super Bowl presents us.

Sheen vs. Brown: The Domestic Case






Domestic Abuse; something that should never be condoned in whatever form it is shown. That is first and foremost my first thought to this coming blog. So here we go.

Charlie Sheen. You may know him from many movies (Platoon, Major League) and TV shows of liking kinds (Two and a Half Men), but to be up front and most profound, what he portrays on the screen is something that isn’t reflect of his reality, yet he is given more than a few chances in his life to repent for his domestic abuses and vile nature in his private life. Even for his trials and tribulations, he continues to act against the moral ground, but is still given the praise for his work, gets jobs, get shows, gets to stand in the limelight of stardom.

Chris Brown. A young up and coming singer who has a voice that sways the woman of all ages, but one domestic abuse case later, he is vilified, scorn, thrown to the trash dumps and ridiculed up and down by public opinion and discourse of fans and critics alike. For all the things that is associated with this crime, he is being humiliated in public, but he has only had one offense; one fucking offense that brought down the law harder than a tumbling mountain slide of rocks and mud. Since then, his image tarnished, his record sales falling, and he basically had to go on live TV (The BET awards) to try and repair an image of disgust (as according to the public) to try to make something of himself again. He has had to face the harsh public, and so forth for one offense that he has already pleaded his guilt and tried to move on from it.

I bring up these facts based on the side to side comparison done at another blogging site. When you compare the men's private encounters, the obvious criticism of both are varied, like standing a midget against a giant. As much stuff as Sheen has done in his life, as much shyt that he has brought upon the world, he isn’t being badgered or belittled as much as Chris Brown. You have to ask yourself, how one man can face so much and get off scott-free, when another has one offense and has to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders.

People, this is the definition of a double standard. People are so disgusted at the facts, they blindly badger something or someone while standing with the hands of hypocrisy. If you truly want to hit someone hard, it should be Sheen, not Chris Brown. Presently, Brown has said his peace, faced the crime, took his punishment, and yet … even when someone tries to make his life better, he has words thrown at him like he is the villain, when he isn't. This is a scar on our society, when someone of a mistake tries to repent but is continually abused, but another continually repeats the same behavior, but just pays everyone off, and continues to live a life of paradise. Could this double standard be a sign that race still factors in people decision and opinions, that deep down inside that an image is tarnished by a color other then character. Who am I to say that this is the case, but sometimes the literal sense has a strong presence then the underlining tone of the good and evil sides of a committed crime.

No matter what happens; people need to take a look at the facts. First and foremost,domestic abuse is for and will always be something that is terrible, vile and ill conceived by any measure of society. People should be punished for their crimes, but … when someone continues to face so much hardship as one Chris Brown has, it is time to let things go, and let him live his life. Sheen should be taken the force, but … the media plays to its own beats. I cannot change society, but I can only present the thoughts of a well being. Hopefully you all will see the same.

It is a ... Story




Do you, fantasize about things. Do you delve into the wonder and awe that perplexes the human mind? Do you dwindle on things that are full of thought provoking material that even the slightest change will affect a climax of living or a thought of belief of the real world? Well, what could you think of; you fell into the world of ‘the story’. The story is enlightened and now you are a fan, a follower, a believer of the world created within words of delight, fear and humility.

So, you like the story you read. You like the meaning, the purpose behind the story, characters and riveting rivals and relationships within. You like that the little old boy was saved in time from the mean people or the dragon was slain. Could you believe in this hope without the epic showing of something fanatical and unreal? Maybe yes, maybe no, but one thing’s for sure, whatever goes into the bleeding of truths, also goes into the fabricating of something unique. Hey, even a story of vampire love is a best seller, so … what does it take to make a story?


A Beginning - Something to begin with, something to see, it is a spark of something to start, to show, to give a doorway to the path or the place where the garden grows. Nothing is certain of what will happen next, but either the princess gets taken hostage, your parents die by an evil sorcerer or you rise to the heavens, there is a beginning, even if its war of the third age (Lord of the Rings)

Plots/Stories - There is something to tell the reader. There are cities to explorer, places to conquer, a path to follow, a reason to make the book in the first place. Have the glue to bind it together. If you do, you can then bring a plot, a reason, and a purpose to spread the words within your story. There is a drive for a novel, or a collection of short events that happens in a given town. Maybe it is meant to show the control of evil forces or a journey in a wonderful land down under. Wonderland you say, maybe it could be a desert, a holy city, a 20th century town in America or a futuristic place on the edge of the galaxy. Who knows, you need some kind of plot to explain the reason of being there.

Characters - One important point of your given story is the characters. How do the readers relate to the many characters you have within your story. Do they speak morals for or against society? Is there a motto for them, a reason to breathe, live or love? Are these characters just a reflection of some challenge in some psychological way, or you just need someone to be a martyr. From the main to the sidekick, from the godfather to the straggler cleaning the door mat in front of house of a village taken over by werewolves, there is something to be said about whom or what within the given story. They represent some kind of emotion for the read to have some kind of connection with said 'character'.

An End - No matter if its series, a short, a page or even a whole trilogy, there is an end. There is a reason to explain everything; a reason to lead all plot threads, characters to some conclusion. How will it end? Will it end with a destruction of a ring, a rise of a king, a boy finding a father or just some day old apocalypse? I don’t know, I’m not writing the story, so explain to your reader what shall be the end. Why am I sailing away to a sunset? Some purpose is brought with this meaning. Open ended or left to sparkle the smiling whore, whoever or whatever happens, there is an end, even for the tears of a child.


So there you have it, the specifics that make a story. A start, middle and end. You have your characters, you have plots. You also have reasons behind the many, or even a secular vision to prove a philosophical standpoint for the few. Whatever you leave in the words underneath, just remember … no matter what happens, it’s still a story. Moral bound or just passing words through time, everything weaves into fiction, even if it’s believed to be true.

Common Sense Thought of the Day # 2




So here we go. I am diverting from my plans on the blog I am working on for the next post (will be posted soon) to speak about something that just boggled my mind today. Maybe I just don't understand, but frankly, it doesn't take a fucking dead as a doornail perception to not realize this plan is just fucking wrong.

Reading the daily news, I come across another ridiculous thought confusing law being presented, and possibly get passed, in the state of Arizona, which aims to ban granting citizenship to newly born babies to illegal immigrants. If you have been hiding under a rock, Arizona had passed a new immigration law that entitles the police to ask people for their citizenship status upon 'reasonable suspicion'. I for one agree that reform is necessary for immigration, due to all the illegal immigrants and to improve the process of naturalization. I for one come from a line of people that are recent immigrants to the United States, so anything spoken hits at home. But here is a common sense perspective:

Do you really need to be that dull and ball bearing that something as dire as citizenship can be taken away if parents are illegal? They (referring to the babies of these illegals) are born on American soil, and based off the first sentence of the Fourteenth Amendment (Citizenship Clause) it states the following:

Amendment XIV, Section 1, Clause 1:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.

Maybe I am no law practitioner or even a scholar of any sorts, but I do have the common sense to think that this goes against the Constitution. Anyone born within the boundaries or is naturalized is a citizen, no questions asked. They paid their dues or were legally brought into this world under our banner. Frankly, I am ashamed to think someone would believe in such a thing could battle illegal immigration, but then it is the same state that banned ethical studies from school. I guess the train of thought is to be secular and conformed to nothing but a backwards thought process. I look forward, so anyone that says (quoting from the banning citizenship to babies CNN article above):

If you go back to the original intent of the drafters ... it was never intended to bestow citizenship upon (illegal) aliens

They should just pass along with the tumbleweeds of the burning desert. Take a breath of reality, the newly born in an American hospital aren't illegal. Go fly a kite and maybe you'll be able to get high off that.

5 movies with Scarlet




Just take a second and look at this picture. She is defiantly a sight worth bearing for days on days, but beyond the application of beauty and wonders in her eyes, she is truly, a gifted actress. Beyond the looks, there is a person who has talent unforeseen to any other actress out there. OK, I might be exaggerating a little bit, but she is a honestly very talented, which leads to the point of this blog. From the perception out there, you might be in the boat of not knowing she has made quiet a few movies throughout the years before Iron-Man 2. I'm going to guess you probably haven't seen all her movies, but don't cry a river just yet. Today, I am going to give you a list of 5 movies starring the beautiful Scarlet Johansson that you should check out:


1.) Vicky, Christina Barcelona - A movie about a trip to Barcelona with friends, her acting sparkles wonders in this movie, as everything is forwarded through dialogue and interaction ... brought out by the talented director Woody Allen

2.) Match Point - Playing the part of a femme-fatal, she shines as the temptation falls to a former tennis star. Another shine of great acting ... also brought out by the talented director Woody Allen

3.) A Girl with Pearl Earrings - Playing the part a peasant girl who works for artist\painter Johannes Vermeer, becomes his assistant ... truly a remarkable film as the subtle motions are brought out in moments between her and the painter, the moods are full of grace and awe, this is the movie that got me to believe she will be going places with her acting

4.) Lost in Translation - The movie that put her in the spotlight with that first camera shot of her ass, the movie is based on her and bill Murray's characters exploits in Japan. Very deep in comedic elements but very articulate, this movie isn't for everyone, but it is the movie that garners true dramatic acting and put Scarlet on the map of A-List status

5.) The Other Boleyn Girl - Picking the fifth movie was hard, but I settled with this. Set before Elizabeth's reign, it follows two girls exploits with King Henry VIII. This film is a period piece, and draws great elements from both Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson, but her acting is just as wonderful as the other four on this list.


So there you have it, 5 movies with Scarlett. I hope you go out and check out these movies, you will not regret it. She is truly gifted and you'll fall in love with her as I did.

What's in a Word?




So to speak, is to be heard. To be heard is to be known. To be known for something with a description gives proof of some kind of meaning, no matter if you puncture the heart of gold or smolder under the might of the shadows.

So, to speak a word, would you mean what you say? Do you even know what the word could mean to what is prowling around the world around you. Maybe you do, maybe you don't ... but for the while you read this, we will delve into the motion of what could be behind the words that are said, specifically the following:

freedom
faith/hope
racist
rape



So to say freedom, what is the feeling that is conjured in you, think about the two sides that are faced with just flinging something around like it weighed less than paper. On the one side, what is conjured if the word 'FREEDOM' is spoken of someone that takes it for granted, just placing it in the crowd like it is on a factory line ready to be a part of a mundane phrase. Like most Americans, freedom is left in the sights of mass media and consumerism when you don't know what struggles lay behind the product of your boombox or that new pair of high heels. On the other side, when speaking the word 'FREEDOM' to someone outside the states, it stirs a moment to dream of a better life. This word moves stronger in someone that breathes for a chance to speak with free thought and words but are thrown into turmoil like the People of Burma or blocked out like the Censorship in China. Take a minute to think what that single word has done for the past, present and maybe the coming future:

French Revolution
American Revolution
India breaking away from the UK
The Tearing of the Berlin Wall

The future holds many new places for freedom in such place like Latin America and Asia, but the word you speak, think about it what you are saying.

Leaning into freedom, people could speak of faith and hope. The conjure of the notion of having faith in some power or hope of something better could bring a chance forward to some light, or a chance to redeem someone or others. This is a good thing, in some sense of the word. The words of faith and hope, that are spoken for greatness is also present in the thoughts of the opposed. The thought of stories of morals and powers that flow are used also to bend a truth for a cause of selfishness and greed. We forget about the things faith has caused, like it's hand in the middle ages, the leading of The Crusades and a badge of honor to commit terrorism. Maybe their is good to have hope for a future and have faith in some kind of messiah, god or a master's teachings, but think about what it means to push someone into acceptance when you're shown one side and forget the other side of history. It is a blind eye that is turned in people that use faith as an excuse to kill and take a chance to take out someone's culture, but for the Yin, there is the Yang. Excuses are a double-edge sword, faith rides on the lines of words, so what's to say that it is right or wrong in the end?

From divisions of faith, there is another strong word from most culture that cause division: racist. It is like superglue, you speak it of someone, it never leaves them. There will always be that perception stirred in the ignorant and no one will want to be around the profound bigot. You look at them with a different eye, and probably alienate them and lead to another lesser form of badgering and turn into the prejudice ones. Maybe there was a reason to act on the racist thought, but the facts to profess someone a racist, do you think to analyze why you speak it in the first place. The meaning of it is someone with the opposition based on color. So do you jump to the conclusion of calling someone in spite of any knowledge of your moral ground. Do you think to realize, there is something behind your opposition when speaking the word racist. So what's to say you aren't a racist. Maybe the second you see a crowd of a certain race, you assume trouble. Maybe the minute you walk in a high scale neighborhood, you're assumption is not to find certain things or people there. Everyone has the right to live anywhere and do anything, judge the content of character fair sir, which you aren't. Do you think about that? NO ... so practically, calling you the racist is better left to be said.

What's to say, in any word. A proof could be in a very strong, abused word: rape. Scream it in the middle of the night, and get away from a real treacherous plot. Scream it without knowing the situation, and someone innocent of the crime could be plagued for it forever for false accusation. Rape is conjured for the worst of the worst to the abuse of something that is only meant for the harness of crimes. Innocence is something that could never return, but remember when it's spoken, it last forever. Innocence could be blamed even for a touch on the shoulder, and then you could be labeled a rapist by the stroke of a fallible mind. Watch when spoken, it could mean a label you wish you could regret.

So what's to say in a word, what's to say anything without proof of purchase, sanction of the meaning, or lacing of a chord. Learn what to say, use the mind of choice and know, you can't take back that word. It may be last thing said ... or the best speech you ever made.

Be My Team ... Real Fans






I am a sports fan. I am truly, dedicated to the sports I follow and the teams I cheer for. For me, the following teams I cheer for:

Green Bay Packers
Baltimore Orioles
San Antonio Spurs
Miami Heat
Virginia Tech Hokies

Four teams, Three sports ... I am a fanatic. I will follow my team through thick and thin, through the best of seasons to the worst of seasons, I am there; cheering, booing, critiquing and yelling. Overall, I never drift away even for a second if my team is in dire straights during any season of its particular sport.

I bring up these facts of being a sports fan to lead to the point of this blog. Under appreciated teams and fair-weather fans. These are two things that drive someone like me, a dedicated sports fan, insane. Why? Because it shows a lack of trust and effort in supporting morally and financially. Every team needs this, and every team wants this, but not every team gets it. I'll use a couple of examples from the observations I have followed through the years I have been following sports, specifically in one league: MLB (Major League Baseball). This is one league where I am driven insane in the lack of support for some teams around the nation. Why am I bothered, because of what I see in certain metro areas that have teams and don't deserve them. Case in point are the Florida Marlins and Tampa Bay Rays.

They are a perennial NL East contender. Maybe not able to win it every time, but they are in it with a fighting chance til the end of the baseball year. Even for all the good hitters, pitchers and clutch innings a player strives to provide in the bottom of the 9th, the crowd is dismal. It is pathetic. Super low attendance ratings throughout the year and also a lack of appreciation throughout the Miami-Dade county community for what this team has done. They have won 2 World Series Rings ... yet, no support. You never see "I am a proud Marlins fan" even if you travel to South Florida. The City is even building them a new ballpark, which I believe will still be empty because of the lack of enthusiasm from the community. Donating big money into a new stadium isn't going to be enough support, you need to GO TO THE GAMES!!!!!!

Tampa Bay Rays

This is a team that has had a lack of support, but the focus isn't the lack of support from the community, it is the fair weather fans. For years since their inception in 1998 (at the time called the Devil Rays) they haven't been the most spectacular team, usually finishing with the worst record and either at or close to last place in the AL east, but they had talent through those years. They had players come up through the system that began showing off what they had. From player like BJ Upton to David Price, Young Guns were coming. In the 2008 season, all the loosing turned around and they made the World Series, eventually loosing to the Phillies in 5 games. Why I bring this up? Because this is when the fans came running through the floodgates in supporting the team screaming ... "YEA I'm a DIE HARD fan, go RAYS." Alright, its cool if you want to cheer for your home team, but you aren't a die hard fan. Where you there at the games or one game during the loosing stretch? Where you there when the team was trying to build themselves up to playoff contention? Where you there when they needed the fans support. HELL NO, you probably don't even deserve to have a team in the first place. Undeserving fans, give a team like that to true baseball fans in Kansas City, Oakland, Detroit and you better believe, they will have fans

So two examples of an under appreciated team and fair weather fans. Two examples of why certain places shouldn't have teams. Good example of dedications can be found in the NFL (National Football League). Almost every team has a die hard fan base. No matter how bad, good, far or heartbreak moments you feel, the fans will be there. Case in point is me being a Packers fan. I have watched and experienced the debacle against Mike Vick and Atlanta Falcons, as well as the San Fransisco 49ers winning touchdown catch by Terrell Owens in the first round of the playoffs, or the interception in the NFC championship game against the Giants in 2007 playoffs ... I still cheer, weep and move forward. Another strong case in point is the New Orleans Saints. For years they have been a terrible team, but all changed with Drew Brees and the 2009 season, where they were lead to and won Super Bowl XLIV. Even Lions fans are dedicated even after an 0-16 season.

So, for all you sports fans out there, hopefully you don't have the same agenda as the Rays and Marlins fans. Be true, be dedicate, be supportive ... be a real fan.

Proven Grounds of Choice





So here is the day to prove yourself. You are about to take on a gang of vicious criminals that is standing between you and the main bad guy. You have only enough ammo in your M-16 to make it through the first wave of guys. So, what is the plan? Well ... for this young boy, knowing he is intuitive, has straight A's and does well in figuring out situations, he decides he will kill the first few guys, grab some ammo off the dead bodies and move on. So ...

The young boy picks up the controller, hits a few buttons and makes his way to the boss, to get the the prize reward. He has achieved his goal, all the while his mother is watching him play. "Time for homework," says his mother. He looks back and says "OK," saves the Grand Theft Auto game and goes to do his homework. In this proven ground, the mother and child is victorious.

So this is a scene you would see in a more mature setting of the proven ground between a parent and child. A child, no greater then 12/13 years old able to play a blood-lust filled shooting game, and at the same time, listen and understand that there is a time to play games and do work. He also knows the difference between fantasy and reality, and what a he plays or sees on TV doesn't translate well in his life. Not all kids around his age understands these differences between reality and fantasy. But, its a choice of the parents, the proven ground of parenting. Do you know when, what and where to take these challenges and know the how to win? Well its up to you.

I bring up this situation because of one the latest Supreme Court Cases to come up in the past week. A challenge of a Law in California that bans the sell of mature video games to minors has been brought to the court saying it goes against the first amendment of the constitution.

So when you read, and you think about it, how is it can a law like this be wrong? When you first look at this on the surface, the law does provide a good sense of moral fiber and a barrier to keep the sell of violent video games to minors (but not out of their hands) but when you really look through the layers and think about it, selling anything to anyone is the choice of the buyer and seller. There is that choice of the buyer to make the decision to sell to a minor, and the minor's choice as well as the parents ever seeing eye to choose whether that a game full of prostitutes, shooting and maybe exotic sexual pleasures is worth their time, or the fact that they ... will understand what is in the game and what is real life.

There are a couple things that bothers me about the law that I'd like to bring up

1. Singling Out a Certain Industry ... The law is only focused on video games. Not banning minors from viewing Rated R or NC-17 movies or banning the sell of explicit CD/music to minors, but just banning video games. It seems that, even though it is self governed with its own rating system to help judge what is good for kids, teens or adults, like all the other media outlets that self-govern with rating systems (Movies, Music) it is being targeted. Why bring a law up when it already has a set of rules determining what is a 'Mature' or 'For Everyone' video game, not to forget that businesses are already fined for selling to minors. Maybe it is the fact that some people are offended by all the violence and sexual exposition that happens in a video games. When you look at it, singling out video games for violence seems hypocritical when you see violence in movies as well as hear explicit content in some songs without a law banning them from viewing or sales to minors/underage shoppers. Just a thought to remember, it is very prejudice law.

2. It Isn't the Government's Job to Parent Society ... No matter if it is moral or right, the government is the mom or dad of every child in America. Do you really need a law to provide a common sense fact of a parent to just say "No you can't play Grand Theft Auto." When it comes to the providing laws for parenting, we are just giving up the right to think at all. Maybe you should have never been a parent in the first place, since you aren't smart enough to judge what is right or wrong for your child.

So when it boils down to it, when you are brought to society's proven grounds, do you really need a law to parent your own child. Do you also need a law to single out one industry because of a misunderstanding or general prejudice. Maybe it is the world we live in, but everything boils down to the sense of a parent as well as the person involved, no matter what age. This is just one fact known to our social proven ground. No matter what you do, eat, listen to or play, can you have the sense to live morally right? I think so. Now I'm off to to play my Elf lore master and kill me a orc in LOTRO

Common Sense Thought of the Day





Just wanted to pass along just a quick thought of the day. Maybe it is just me, but then someone else might be thinking this.

If you drive a Mercedes-Benz, all decked out and you are shopping at Walmart, I need to ask why? Are you really that cheap or that broke that you have to shop for something that is not beneficial to you. Frankly, if you are trying to save money and live on a budget, you should have thought about it til you got that 500 plus dollar payment for 6 years for a car you can barely afford. Nothing wrong with a used Ford, might save you some money and it might be more reasonable, then maybe I'll think about not judging you for your lack of logical choice of budgeting for your 'family' or 'yourself'. Typical of the self-absorb society we live in now-a-days ... That is all for today folks

I Can't be Superman ... Really?





So here is the man, the mystery, an idol to the comic book world. Here is Superman; courageous, honorable, stout and very forth coming with helping others, no matter who they are. He has powers beyond the imagination and strikes fear in evil doers eyes, but for everything he is known for in the fantasy world, what most people know him as is a fake character with no representation of real life what-so-ever. The thing that comes across a stale confined mind is, you can't be him, its a drawing on paper. He just can't be your idol, he can't be your mentor, he is fucking fiction for gosh sakes!

That is the words you would probably here if you don't see with your eyes what realism could be within this object of an imagination. Maybe, of course there are certain aspects of this comic book hero that could probably and possibly be imaginary. Just to name a few:

Laser Eyes
Frost Breath
X-ray Vision
Super Speed
Flight
Super Strength


There are many other things he possess that could be, out of this world, one aspect that is beyond thought is that he is from another planet called Krypton (Which was exploded for some reason, but you can go get a comic book and read up on it), but for reality's sake, these powers all represents something that a human can value, gifts.

Yes gifts. Everyone has them dwelling inside of them, it is all just a matter of finding what you do well at and putting your heart and soul into that talent. Maybe its poetry or singing. Maybe its hiking or some kind of sporting activity like basketball or football, you could be starting quarterback in the NFL. Maybe you have a talent in predicting the future or designing lingerie. No one knows what you can do, but the fact is, you should go out and find out what gifts you have, it might bring joy to your life or some kind of monetary value, that's worth something sometimes.

Other then gifts that are presented by this fictional person, what other aspects could be reflected from Superman for a dreary world. Oh I have it, he presents a sense of optimism. He presents a sign of hope that, even for all the dangers in the world or for all the scars and pain that can be caused by anything like:

Storms
Death
Traffic
Wars
Terrorist


there is a sign of hope beyond this epic or trivial facts that, life can be better. Life can be greater. Life can be peaceful and beautiful. All you need to do is find a little hope in your life, some kind of optimistic value within you everyday meddling of nature's gift. Find that smiling child, that loving man or woman that enjoys your company, that greeting store clerk that brings joy when you by a 5 dollar meal. An optimistic outlook, even in the most subtle situation, could be brought upon your day, everyday.


Gifts and optimism, what else does this fake person possess that you say I can't be. There is one other thing this paper drawing possess that I can be, an inspiration to others. He inspires people to do great things. From all the perils that he faces, from the struggles to save Metropolis from destruction to fighting creatures like Brainiac and Doomsday, He inspires good in everyone when there is a devil of a presence. For all the depression that could happen to you, maybe this comic book hero could inspire you do something. Maybe you are inspired to brighten the day, to bring joy to your siblings, to get a gift for your mom or even continue forward and work for something better in life. For all the crooks, thieves and sometimes lying bastards within society, a little inspiration of good could do wonders.


So, you say I can't be Superman. I can't be a superhero. Maybe the aspect of being super strong and throwing a large object like a car through a building is impossible, but I can live my life the right way, open a door for a young lady, give some change to the homeless and strive to get my book published for all to see. So, to all that could be fiction about this character, he seems pretty real to me. I can be Superman

Stress of Less





So, you experienced hardship. You have experienced pain. The almighty hand of life has taken your body and gripped it hard enough you'll pop like a pimple. You are ready to burst, let loose and scream bloody murder as if all is lost and everything has fallen from your hands in one day. But you wake for another. Your eye, still pondering the hour of no hope, sees a sunshine. So you have stress. You have something pressuring you from the outside or the inside, poking and making you curl into the fetal position. The thing is, when you think about it and look forward with some insight, you realize that the person causing stress is you. You are putting the weight of the world on your shoulders when in all actuality, there is no point to think about it as much.

So, you don't know what to do? You do not know how to free yourself from the evils of stress. Well guess what? I have a few tips from the experiences around life and my thoughts that can help free you and everyone's mind and let you all experience something that was just ... a dream before.

1.) Do Poetry ... I say do poetry instead of write for a reason. Poetry is an expression of ones thought, placed into either vocal or literary form. Most the time, you notice there are poetry books, prose, motto's, essays and even short and sweet things called Haiku's. Other forms could be in the form of free-styling/rapping or spoken word. Whatever is the choice of travel, this is something that could pry you from the claws of stress. Place thoughts into words, write something down, show the world inside and express what is within, around and coming forward for you. You could read some poetry to clear your mind. I'd recommend any author since poetry is subjective. Not into writing or reading? You can experience free-styling, rapping. Try your luck at some simple rhymes. Try to make a beat and groove to the sideshow of the mental train. Go out and enjoy a spoken word night at a club, festival of even between a few friends. You can enjoy it at home. Putting things into poetry always gives a good feeling as you have expressed something. It can even bring a smile.


2.) Drive Alive ... Driving. Go and jump in the car/truck/SUV, whatever you ride and just go and leave the house, work or whatever it is that is bogging you down at the moment. Pop in some tunes into your radio. Get a mix-tape\CD or a mp3 player, and let the soothing sounds of heartfelt vocals breed within the vehicle. Put the window down and let the world pass by in a vision of magic. I don't expect you to go jump on the interstate to free stress. Go out driving in the countryside on back roads. Go to a small town and experience another scene that you don't see everyday. An awesome place for a drive (which I believe) is to go through the mountains. The scenery, plus some pleasant tunes will be a good combination for a stress free day. Plan this trip, it might do you some good.

3.) Explore Culture ... Explore the city around you, the town's history, the state or country's past moments in time. If you live in a decent size area, or even a small county, there are places to visit. I do have the luck of living in Virginia, where it is rich in history, dating all the way back to the first settlement in Jamestown, so I do experience a lot and explore plenty of places around my home. I say to you, go explore your area. Experience the sites of a colonial era style house or even take a walk through an aquatic hallway at an aquarium. Haven't been on tour of a zoo? Go check out the tigers from Siberia. Haven't seen any historical or famous paintings? go to the art museums and see some renaissance art that might be awe inspiring. A trip through culture events is another way to break the mind of self-inflicting signs. Experience it all, it might do you well.

5.) Watch Fantasy ... Escape from this world with a little bit of mystery, sci-fi or suspense in a film. There are plenty of films that explore new worlds and new ideas of fantasy and reality. You could check out Avatar and explore the world of the Navi Pandora. My personal favorite and recommendation would be to sit down and watch the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Hold a day event with friends, order some pizza and explore the vast lands Eriador, the plains of Rohan and even the creeping sulking area of Mordor. A world like Middle Earth is a world worth the experience. From Hobbits and Elves to the exploration of the deep caves of Moria and lush forest of the Golden Wood ... it is an breathtaking that a world like this could exist. It is an escape from your stressed related life. Take a dip into the fantasy pool, swim and enjoy.

6.) Escape the Mind/Imagine ... All the stress in the world, it all can be relieved by a little bit of imagination. Escape your mind, escape your sights. Leave all senses down to the ground, close your eyes and mediate. Leave this world and go to a peaceful place. Create an image of smiles and sunshine. Find a place to relax on the beach, or even take a hike through the woods. The only thing holding you back from your own dreamworld is the stress of the real world. It is your own creation of reality that plagues the mind to think otherwise, shake and fall away. Shadows are abound, but the mind is yours to release. I believe that mediation works wonders, and would work for you. In the park or at home, during a rain day or even when the sun is bleeding wonderful rays, take it all as one ... mediate to release it all.


So for all the stress in the world, it takes one second to change everything in the mind. With few handy tips above, you can experience a stress free life. I do realize challenges await everyone, include me, but to face them like a knife to the heart is not worth thinking about. Put your mind to other things, and maybe you will live again and breathe

Country Music Love




Just from the beginning. I am an artist and love and enjoy all types of music:

Alternative
Rap
Hip Hop
Indie Rock
Progressive
Emo/Screamo
Hard Rock/Heavy Metal


I listen and enjoy everything from Jay-Z to Foo Fighters; from Dave Matthews to Joss Stone. Even to put truth on the record, my favorite band of all time is Incubus (A post will come for that later). Just to present the thought of my reality, I do enjoy and embrace most if not all the music out there if it isn't stupid or dull, but for everything I listen to, there is just one brand of music that hits me stronger then most. That music is country. Country music is something that, if brought to a common thought, the tongue of cliches would abound plenty, with references to either a lover, a cowboy or an evening at a honky-tonk. The thing is, for all that could be true in the thought of any cliche of country music, the raw truth is it strikes me with a different passion then most, and for this, there are 5 things I shall present you the reader why country music strikes such a heavy chord in me, and should for you:

1.) The Relative Simplicity of the Lyrics ... There is something to be said about layering figurative and literal meanings into words to make a song or poem. I am a poet, so I do understand portrayal of any kind of thought,meaning or personal point. You have to have a great presentation, and with country music, there presentation is straight forward. In country music, they keep it simple. You would think that having simple words would bring nothing but a bland and boring truth, but with the music that is created in a simple form, it is effective. It soothes, it churns, it provides a sense of wonder as the words chime through and brings a smile or a tear. A good example of simplicity is George Strait's song Check yes or no. It is a song that provides a journey of love between a boy and a girl. The simplistic of the lyrics describing the boy and the girl brings the situation's truth closer to you, as quoting the first part:

It started way back in third grade
I used to sit beside Emmy-lou Hayes
A pink dress, a matching bow, in her pony tail.
She kissed me on the school bus, but told me not to tell.


The meaning is portrayed in very simple lyrically fashion, but it rings truth. It also brings in a strong vivid scene, which leads into my second point ...

2.) Imagery ... This is a very strong point in country music. As simple as the lyrics are, it portrays a very relative situation to said audience, even if it hasn't happen or won't happen to you or anyone around. Even if the situation is different then what you find on an everyday basis, you can see it. You can feel it. You can actually close your eyes and feel that:

Year fighting in the war
The passing of everyday life of the depression
The death of a husband
Or the picture of a new born child

It is as real as you and me getting a cup of coffee before heading to work in the morning. A good example of this is Kenny Chesney's song Old Blue Chair. With the lyrics, he provides you with a scene of laying on the beach, with nothing but you, the ocean and your blue rocking chair, as I quote the first verse:

There's a blue rockin' chair,
sittin' in the sand.
Weathered by the storms,
and well oiled hands.
It sways back and forth,
with the help of the winds.
Seems to always be there,
like an ol' trusted friend.


This provide a sense of awe, wonder and delight. As the lyrics are simple and provides the strong vivid imagery, it also provides a gentle mood, which leads to my third point ...

3.) Ranges of the Emotive Chord ... The range of emotions that come from any country song can withstand any ballad of a media constructed pop band. As much as their is truth in the simple lyrics, and the generated image, you can feel the laughter and joy in the voice of Keith Urban in his song Days go By, or feel the sadness and struggle for living in Carrie Underwood's voice in her song Just a Dream. What also adds to the fact of the raw emotions is the proof that their voice isn't tuned by a machine or adjusted, it is real in presentation. You will very the vibrant radiance of a high note. You will feel the subtly and caressing in a low note. What makes it even better is the fact these 3 points are a great combination for next point ...

4.) Crowds and Concerts ... I can truly say, my best outings or times in a concert have been at a country concert. Outside of Incubus's 3 concerts I've been to (being biased on them because they are my favorites) my other favorite concerts have been country concerts. As much as I enjoy grooving to soothing rock song or jumping and pounding for a heavy metal show, the good feel and interactions that happens between said country artist and the fans is something that you could be called a once in a lifetime moment. Nothing beats a feeling of being back home, out on the farm, hanging with the family and just smiling your way til the clock strikes midnight. Country concerts are truly special, and as everything has been stated before, there is one point that I've only felt/seen with a country music ...

5.) About heart ... If I could stress anything that I've experience with music or musicians, it should always be about heart. The one thing I have seen throughout everything at a show or on TV, or even experience listening to a CD or an mp3 player, you experience the heart of a country artist. You feel the warmth, the passion, the struggle and the tears that bleed into every song. There is nothing more important then a heartfelt connection a fan has with their favorite country artist, and their songs. They don't just do what's popular or do what's the company's motto ... they do what is right and what feels good in their hearts. This is true to any country artist out there, and could be personified in everyone who struggles to just be themselves.


For all that I've listen to throughout the years, I see that everything always comes full circle. From the beginning, country music might seem unpopular, not important, not good or even something unspectacular, but as I grow older, I can feel why and how I relate to anything that is sung by a country artist. As the day turns another page in your life, I hope these words boil something warm in your heart (from Alabama's Born Country)

Traditional ... Stain

It is a tradition. Staying true to your roots and playing host to nothing but the same old games in society's pool. Stationary and reclusive, you try to smile for what you had and what you have to do. With all these guidelines for you to follow, why do you still have an eye pondering a forward thinking thought. From what is known, you can't think outside box? Couldn't this individual thought bring misery and pain if you were to step from the boundaries of a traditional standard. Hell, no one else can stand on their own two feet either. Progression is denied.

So what is it that keeps people in the same boat, the same lane, the same aisle looking at the same old box of cereal, keeping it plain and afraid to try that new brand with cinnamon flavor. That bland taste of wheat and a touch of honey makes that homemade cooking so much special. But you want a new flavor, maybe some pasta ... lasagna, or even a gyro.

For every so called traditional motto that could be used, there is the broad scale of what is stated, and how it has an affect of life. Ridicule is what comes from a traditional stain. Here are 4 major topics that get affected by all traditions.


1.) Art ... I bring art as the first topic. Art has it own definition apart from a book could explain. Art is something that comes to be different to many, and figurative to others. The art that someone explains as awesome might be bland to others, but it is still art. Acknowledgment of the fact that there is a creative swirl or motion of something spectacular even on the most minuet of scales still makes it creative, sensational and astonishing ... that is art. You want to badger someone's foray into another lane? You want to throw rocks and pillage the fact they believe this to be something special. I frankly consider your angst not worth a breath to mention, since it's probably a conjured fiction of a creative tale. Art comes in many forms:

Paintings
Sculptures
Poetry
Plays
Stories
Movies
Music
Theater

So no matter if its a Disney production of the Lion King on Broadway to a 5 star rated porno called Bikini Hoe Down ... art is of the eye of the creator. Don't like contemporary country, then dig a hole. Can't stand the fact that people express raw emotions in a freestyle rap or spoken word, then walk away. There is an audience for things other then secular thought of black and white.

2.) Innovation ... This is one that is plagued by the crowd, and bashed by the few. Innovation is what brings society closer to a functioning reality. The more that people innovate, the more they brings ease to things that are applicable to living an ideal lifestyle. We have innovation in many things like:

Transportation
Medicine
Communication

We only move forward when it comes to innovate they way we interact and react to things in our living/breathing society. Is there something wrong with going green, holding onto clean energy sectors that could provide safety and stability for an advanced society. Is it wrong to ask for updated ways of moving goods and services between rural parts of the country to cities, say a electrical or magnetic transportation grid between Montana and Chicago? What if I want to have a cure for my cancer using stem cell research or save a kids life from being paralyze for the rest of his life? Scared to the fact that cells are being tampered for the greater good? The ideal speaking of a common tongue cannot imagine the possibilities without opening a blind eye to a situation around. Well, hold onto your clogged arteries and smoke your life away. Theory is all left in the past when experiments and evidence prove the thought of living longer, staying healthy and breathing something other then the smog of an SUV is possible. Think before you equip your sights with a supposed enlighten provision.

3.) Acceptance ... There is one thing that bothers me more then not realizing the movement into a technological advanced society. You can have different taste in most things, but accepting another for standing opposed to what is 'divided' in the lines of society seems to be hard for most if not all people around. Lets slap someone for having a different kind of love. Lets badger someone who dresses that 'seems' to be consider a taboo. Can't stand the love among two men ... well tough, they probably live happier then you. Can't stand the girl in all black clothing, dying her hair 8 different colors and her boyfriend in fishnet stockings ... well who cares, they are probably less stressed at the situation then you. They aren't committing any murders or killing a baby. They are just living a lifestyle you find, unacceptable. You want to throw the book at them? Did you want your deity cure them of their sinful ways, I heard choking with water works ... not. The fact is, your pretentious thought is ignorant to the reality of, you are bothered by the idea of individuality. So before you go running wild fires because someone likes to be a DRAG queen, take a pill and go to sleep.

4.) Free Will ... Everything above and all that hasn't been mention trails to this center point. The idea, but more of the reality, is for people to have the freedom to do what works for them, the will to choose for themselves and not have the organized force push them away. The will to freely go about talking, laughing, playing and eating whatever you want is a decision that is expressed in a smile. Maybe things should be taken in moderation, maybe people should just not look in the direction of displeasure, but really, why does it matter to you? They aren't a bother, they aren't ripping your soul from dignity, they aren't asking you to take in the pleasure of eating a dead animal. A little far fetch, but people have the right to be free of thought and expression. Every tradition and social trend, that has grip the past, present and future tries to restrain this fact. Truth is, free will is the ultimate point of humanity. People think of the otherwise, and if you can just listen and be free with choice, maybe you'll smile without being told.


So you have a traditional standard, belief or common tongue. Don't be bothered by someone's lifestyle. To take pleasure in anger is to not be living at all. You will only find sadness in struggle, just learn to live outside the box. You will come to see that even for all that happens, beliefs are the same.

Where's the Love




A ponderous moment as the scale falls back in the mind. The heart beats, the day swells, the warm weather blows on by and you can only, grab a hold of someone's hand, look to the sky and wonder, if it finally true. Maybe this is it, maybe she/he is ... the one.

But for a second, lets take a step back and notice, this scene is nothing more then magical for only two people, two beings, Two homo-sapiens that are presented with a thought of forever.

But as much as it is lovely to think of what a dream is, it isn't always truth in reality. It isn't lovely for the others who plague on the thought when this picture arises, well into the night along the shores of a warm ocean, when you do hold that hand of someone special. What do you expect to find?

Happiness?
Joy?
The enlighten fact of the warmth that settles inside?

But when those eyes open, you find your bed and yourself. So where is the love? Well ... the love isn't there, yet. So when is it that love is there?

Five things to notice that love is in your sights.

1.) The heart has a feeling, that you've never felt before. That heart beats only, when the feeling for him or her occurs. The heart only continues to make a rhythm to a beautiful day when you notice it is wonderful when something like them crosses your mind of that great significance.

2.) So after the heart, their is that thought. That thought brings joy, passion, anxiety, confusion and also ease. How much irony could be in this thought that is so peaceful and plague you at the same time. It is when him or her walks through that door of opportunity for the first time.

3.) After the heart beats and that thought occurs, it comes to that moment. It could be at the mall, at the park, walking on the boardwalk or even ordering a dollar meal off the menu. That moment when eyes connect for the first time, you just ... feel it

4.) That heart, that thought, that moment ... It turns to a fact. It turns into truth. An unwinding of all things natural and wonderful blend to form a factual conclusion that, no matter what lies ahead ... for better or for worst, you know the truth is with this magical being of a person.

5.) That heart, that thought, that moment and that truth ... It all boils to one and final thing, that you know. No denial, no fluttering between a yes or no, no reason to walk away. You stumble to ask a question, to greet yourself. You stutter upon their arrival or their presences. You can only imagine what the future holds and forever stands still for you and them. You just ... Know.

So ... where is the love. Their is always a doubtful cloud, but once the spotlight shines, and you take that walk, on the boardwalk, staring up to the sky and holding hands ... the love is where it has always been, right in front of your eyes. I am one of the many that has yet to find it ... but I know once these 5 things conjure in my small stirring pot, I'll know where's the love.

Presentation of the Stick



I present you with a stick. Yes, a stick. You might ask, why a stick? Well, the interesting thing about this stick or any stick you find, it is something magically to some that has many uses if you put your mind to it. The possibilities are endless, but here are few things you could do this with this stick:

1. Guide ... You could guide anyone or anything with this stick as you point your way to a destination. The direction and the focus of one avenue helps with this tool. You could also use it as a guide in the dark as you use the hollow noise it gains by whacking the stick against another object, generating a point of interest for anyone looking for you or a particular place.

2. Time ... How the hell can a stick give you time? Well, easily, just think about it ... you thinking? well of course not. You can put the stick in the ground and watch as the sun and shadows create you a circle of a clock. WOW, amazing ... the shadows give me the time of day without any gizmo's or gadgets breaking or needing to replace. Just a little bit of sunlight and common sense and anyone can figure out its 3 PM.

3. Art ... Yes, this stick can provide you with art. The art of drawing, as you pierce the ground with dazzling designs or maybe, trim the stick down to conduct an orchestra. That soothing sound can draw an audience and provide entertainment for days. Or simple, its the object of a song, a poem, of a story that you could base it off of ... you have the mind to do anything with this stick.

4. Action ... Do you role play? Of course you do, so lets give you some kind of object to create your fantasy world with. You could turn this very stick into a weapon, from medieval times as you are the knight trying to save the damsel from the evil doers. You wield your weapon with all your heart and might as you charge to the cave of darkness. Maybe there is a dragon ... just sharpen the end and stab it in the heart ... albeit, still role playing here. Something to enjoy on your time off from work.

5. Helping others ... This stick, no matter what else you could do, could provide someone with support. Someone who is unable to walk could you this as a cane as they walk across the street. Maybe there is a clog pipe, just stuff this stick in the hole and release the pressure ... feels much better. Or maybe someone is out of reach trapped in the river, the stick just added a few more feet, and you saved a life.

6. Other uses ... With your mind and this stick, come up with your own stuff to do, make sure children aren't around if you end up being naughty.


So you can see, you can do many things with this stick. Save, entertain, and maybe even use it for your own pleasure. Other then the some situations I have posted, this stick could be used in the real world to build structures, mass produce for other objects of society or even provide travel in the ocean (sticks float). Hell, the only thing keeping you from this multi-tasking object is a bland thought and laziness to occupy free time. Left-Click

It is a posturing moment. Tense, the scene is engrossing and the seconds tick away like there is no chance. You find that, part of this situation, you cannot think of what to do, there is this monster and you have energized your shield and you failed in your first attack ... but before you could think of the next strategy, you just choose to just left-click.

But, for anything that speaks volumes in the fantasy world, I might role play, but people role play with no conscious thought ever comes to cross the mingling of a commonality of a everyday situation. No reasoning comes to think of what might happen if you left-click the rest of the day.

For a minute, let me present you with this question. Will you think or just left-click.

For many, you left-click. Scenarios are presented on an everyday basis, but you always choose to left-click as this situation occurs:

The speaker is enlightening. The words or harnessed in some sort of glorious light that no matter what crosses everyone's mind or what lines are drawn between you and other socially accepted signs. Maybe, you out of all the groupies and party followers there is a sense of denying this posturing of the man at the podium. Maybe there is an intuitive thought creating a second line from the binds of society that maybe, if I take a look and listen, maybe even read the world around me ... it will all make sense from a fabricated story. But fuck it all, can't see a way around it, can't find a path away from it, the building speaks of holding sales or leads me to a promise that no one else could keep ... lets go ahead and left-click, lets download it into the brains and embed what feels so good and helps momentarily. That ad is so relishing, those words are so remarkable, that prologue to the coming days are so gripping that this story of the past might actually have an affect on my life, albeit I realize that person is smiling outside and nothing is wrong with them.

But taking a look at life's other scenarios of something fanatical, someone so daring of the liking beliefs ... you find a way to left-click out of that situation while braving the company's word, just continuing the spiral of an illustration that seems to fit a model of significance, I guess the bonus is to beat down the individual.

He holds your heart, he presents you with a almost to good to be true spiritual path, he speaks with passion that if you give some payment and little bit of ignorance, you'll join the club. Hey, good advertising does that to many people.

So lets all left-click ... those people seem to have great style, let me find a sale and fit in. That seems to be the popular thing, maybe I'll listen to some music to be with them, even though that would send crows to their death bed. Maybe I'll hold a book, and say I know the truth and bow my head and hope for a choir, but maybe Shakespeare had more insight of the real world, he has a big audience too.

History repeats. So does the cycling of social lines that impede progress. Think about it before you see a 50 percent off ad, or 'I'll show you the way, but I need your credit card'

But, for a retrospective for the unlabeled few, I say I'll show you the way, just look around with your own two eyes.

So, when that monster is about to attack. Take a second to gather your potions, figure out a defensive strategy and strike at the weak point ... Then you can break those lines.

5 Things for a Beautiful Day




Let me take a moment and present you with a delicate view of a beautiful day. Maybe there hasn't been many in the past, but with spring coming and the warm weather rising, it is time to unleash the inner child and embrace the magic of this beautiful thing.

For the day that spins gorgeous moments and unparalleled designs, here are 5 things that anyone should think about on this sunny day:

1. Take a walk at the park or beach ... Really people, you stay inside almost all day either at home or work. Maybe even when there is sun out for other days. So put on those walking shoes, grab a partner, and go take a walk. Watch the world turn around as you open to the warmth that has been given to you for today

2. Eat some ice cream ... It is a warm day. It presents you with a time to share in a sweet tooth. Nothing is better then a double scoop on top of a waffle cone. Sounds like fantasy? It is more then that ... it is truly amazing. Grab a a few bucks and get yourself some ice cream, maybe some for the kids as well. Don't worry about gaining weight, just enjoy the magic of that taste :)

3. Take a picture ... For a freelancing photographer as myself, the best time for capturing moments of life is on a warm day. People are out, activities are going on, kids are playing, adults are relaxing, life is blooming ... these are the moments worth capturing. So no matter if you are a novice or an expert, grab your camera and take a snapshot

4. Embrace your surrounding ... Maybe you've been stuck inside doing the same old boring online gaming and you forget, there are plenty of activities to do in your specific areas. Albeit ... it might just be going to the beach, but hell ... the beach is more then a postcard of some allegory that a sunshine might exist. There are parks, there are museums, there are historical sites and probably a festival going on you didn't know of. Take some time to scoop out the information in your town, city or county. You probably will not regret going out and sharing a burger with a friend at the boardwalk festival

5. Lay back and smile ... Last of all, no matter what you have planned today or what could be stressing that mind of yours, lay back in a lawn chair, on the beach, on a park-bench and smile. Nothing speaks wonders then that smile on a beautiful day. I live not for all that could be wrong, I live for that moment to smile. Maybe you should try sometime


So throw away that thought of days past. Today the sun is out. Take a deep breath, focus your mind, and take in the wonders ... of a beautiful day

FLOW

It is but a wish of a troubled mind to take in all and breathe slowly without having some doubt. For the doubt that comes around, there is a sense of calm that you can level with this conflicting thought, swirling inside.

I speak of this with a sense that, many things swirl, change, break and shatter within the tides of time that we spend watching this world spin. So

when you speak, they walk
when you listen, they turn
when you play, they run
when you think, they frown

Troubled, diffused and maybe a little angst towards shuffling feelings that could lead to sorrow when it seems to be that, no one cares to just accept the fact of what is and what you are. When you notice this, this is when FLOW should soothe, should crawl, should mingle in a heart and soul like yours.

For everyone, there are many standards, practices and religious beliefs you may hold to keep up a momentary thing, but FLOW is something that is a surrounding of the world around. So to take what is and make it reflect upon the mirror, here are steps to follow for FLOW.

1. Acknowledge ... There are facts that could break a slumber of a bear of winter. There are tides that could rip away at the beach of a beautiful day. Even for the most pleasant things, you have to notice the surroundings, the people, the objects, the sun and clouds above and around. Even for a breath or a gentle touch of the wind, it should be held at a fingers grasp.

2. Open ... Noticing the facts around, the birds flying, the leaves fluttering, the colors upon the surface and within the light, you will be able to open those eyes to more then just a common hold. Seeing is more then just two dots and 360 vision. Settle the moods, relax a bit, take it and sit to open the door to this moment.

3. Embrace ... As the world surrounds, and you open to the ideas of either side. The malice, the miscues, the irony, the plague, the words that flow through a crowd and the raindrops that fall to the world down, you embrace that moment of facts and know truth is of the hour. Nothing sounds frighten; nothing is horrible. You could pay for many things, but the embrace of this warmth you have settles whatever could have been imagine.


So ... Take a second out of the day, good or bad. Let the calm gentleness of the hour fall to your mind when doubt is upon the clouds. I don't speak of a biased intent to follow another path or divert, this is just a sense of a better place. Religious or not, there is a chance you can find FLOW

Temptation

You see it. You see that one momentary thing that reaches out. Good or bad, what does this thing do. I can tell you, it makes you feel something warm inside, a wanting in the grabbing sense of the moment.

Why are you so tempted by this so called, object. It gives a bright day, it gives a sense of recover, it gives some other sense than the anguish of being alive around the massing public you deem, unimportant. But, you are tempted by this object to do anything, to do something, to do good or bad by your own terms of right and wrong.

So ... how is this temptation any bother to the outside world? Do you know what it could do. Probably not. You probably don't even give a fuck what the consequences of this obsession of this object could do to the vast area that takes the repercussions of these action you have, been tempted to fulfill.

In you're head, this thought crosses your mind:

Frankly, I'm tempted to ask why? Why should I bother to take a look around when my faith has no reasons to save or to hurt, by terms i deem fit. Am I arrogant in that manner, that I want to wish for a place of peace and give my heart, body and soul for this object? Maybe someone would die, maybe a child would cry, maybe the rivers of blood would rush through me as quickly as a trail of tears or a party full of tea.


But as this thought crosses, its just a barrier from the truth, that this object is tempting you further to dilute into just another figure for the records of the public world. You'll bow on thy knees, hold hands to a prayer, reach out with a remote and decide to take a life for the gift of a peaceful slumber. Maybe in return I'll smoke a little and fall to the ground for my blissful reality.

So tempted, but the facts of the blind, someone is hurt by your faithful interpretation of a good thing. Think about having common sense, if you don't mind.

Innocent in Reality

Plague. A continuous pressure from the outside that presses against with a vile sense of ambiguity ... with no sense of knowing or witnessing the actions of word, moments or situations towards the innocent signs of the world.

What would you consider, a plague upon a bright mind, young or old? It could be many things. The sense of moving out the door, of going down the road, of having a look over at a crowd and just, making a note of a situation as nothing important, when abuse arises. So, you take a look. There is someone, innocent trapped in a cycle of hatred and bigotry from others who have no sense but ignorance and hatred. Why would you take a look with an eye towards this innocent bystander? What sense does this reality affect your churning lifestyle. The innocent are plagued by the manner of this cycle. Why would you ever take a chance to save someone from this cycle of "faggot", "whore" or "bitch you don't deserve to live". A sight mentioned by the daily news and common sources from world events and school campuses across the very world that watches it pass by, another life.

There is a side of our soul that is innocent, that wants to smile, that wants to share another feeling of joy and embrace the world and show a bare truth. But frankly, the hidden sense of delight will be trapped behind the smile ... always and forever.

So when reality plagues, pushes and massacres a sense of wonder, awe and ambition, what role do you play. What sign do you conjure. You could hold hands to a prayer or take a chance, realize and breathe. When someone turns to suicide, just remember the fact, it could have changed for the better if reality set in to save this innocent life. Passive is still a curse to the motions around.

Plague. Minds have it all, but embrace the innocence of desires, and learn to be a face for reality, and break the cycle of hatred. the words within, embrace

Day One

From the beginning, we are something. From the wound, to that first step into a new classroom, it is a beginning, it is ... day one. What could be said from this, first day. There is an eye of curiosity, a sense of bliss, a feeling of knowing not enough, but wise enough to protest your innocence and be free spirited with thoughts and feelings. With each step, each day ... we all move to another day one. We see that light for the first time. We see that person for some reason. We grab a hold of that special moment and let that day speak volumes on how we move forward and lean on the curve of the hours that pass along. A question only comes beyond, a feeling of the unwilling comes around, but for that beginning ... there is a sense of one feeling. There is that thing. As you come to day one as ignorant to the manner that can be generated from a wave or a hello, it doesn't matter what happens as you have that thing for that moment. So ... from that first date, to that first kiss, to that first child that cycles from that love ... you will watch those thought of wonder, of awe, of excitement upon the face of another as you lay in that bed and end the beginning with another day ... passing. Even with a last breath from a body that experienced all, there is a thought that it is still the beginning even at the end. Wise you are ... and let this be the first thoughts you come across from reading a passage from another. If anything you get from day one, remember that beyond this post will be another first for a world within
